Helio Castroneves' fate now rests with a Miami jury. Closing arguments concluded on Friday morning in the six-week trial involving the former Indianapolis 500/Dancing with the Stars champion.
Castroneves, his business manager-sister and his lawyer are accused of conspiring to evade some $2.3 million in taxes between 1999 and 2004.
Will Helio be convicted and serve jail time, or will he walk? What kind of impact would that have on the world of auto racing and an IndyCar Series that's reeling from a lack of big-name drivers other than Danica Patrick?
All three defendants face more than six years in prison if convicted.
UPDATE, 4 p.m.: Jurors have gone home for the weekend and will resume deliberations on Monday.
